GlamST app review

Hey everybody! I got to test a new app called GlamST. You can test makeup styles and colors before you buy.
Here is what they say about their product.
GlamST is an app for iOS that allows you to discover new makeup by choosing the styles you love and trying makeup on your photo. You can freely experiment from the comfort of your phone, try on makeup by snapping a selfie, choosing your style and seeing how makeup would really look on your face. Our goal is to make women feel comfortable with their choices and who they are daring them to experience the power of makeup and find the best-looking version of them.

It's pretty easy starting up you login with facebook or email. Then you fill out some details like your eye color, hair color, skin color, skin type and your age.

You can snap a selfie or choose a model. I'm assuming you get different models based on what you put in your details. I had three models to chose from. I wasn't able to get a good enough selfie so I went with two of the models.

Next you have a lot of options to choose from. You can choose something trendy, sexy, edgy, glamorous, fresh or hipster. You can also choose one of the fabulous celebrity makeup looks.

For the first look I tried I went with a sexy look. I like that you can see how the lipstick color works with your skin tone. I love lipstick and trying new colors but sometimes the colors I pick just don't look good so it's nice to try them out first.

Swipe to the right and you can see different color options!
I think this look is perfect for spring! This app definitely gets me in the mood to experiment with different colors and styles.

The glamorous look is probably my favorite. I will have to try something similar as a fall/winter look.

Something interesting is on the left side is that bar if you drag it you can see the difference between no makeup and the makeup look.

You can even see if the cat eye works for you!

The bottom left is the best feature! tap the compact and lipstick to see what makeup to use to get similar results you can even change the price to meet your needs.

I think the app is fun it did take some time to get used to it. I also have the Wet n' Wild app and I think the way GlamST works is better There are a lot of brand options. I definitely want to play around more and create more looks so I will probably have a part 2. The app currently is only available for IPhone, IPad, and IPod touch and it is free.

You can get the app here
Check out their website!

Classic Shadow Brush
Flat Eyeliner Brush
Angled Shadow Brush
Small Smudge Brush
Tapered Eyeliner Brush

2. bh cosmetics 120 Color Eyeshadow Palette 3rd edition $14.95
This palette is great because you have so many options. There are 120 shadows that are a mixture of matte and shimmer. There are bright colors, pastel, and cool toned colors. I really like the range of color options.

3. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette $49
I have been DREAMING about this palette since it came out. I always have to look at it when I am at Ulta. The colors are beautiful and the palette smells like chocolate because it is actually made with cocoa powder and I love the packaging! There are 16 shadows that I would describe as earthy. There is a really pretty gold, wine and brown.

4. Yes Please by Amy Poehler $14.50
I tried to get this for the BirchBloggers monthly book club but wasn't successful. I love Amy Poehler and I think it sounds like a great book.

5. Clinique Youth Surge SPF 15 $53.50
I asked my mom to tell me the one beauty item she is loving and this is it! She received a sample and noticed a difference so she had to buy some for herself. This product comes in a pretty big container so it will last a while. Give the gift of beautiful skin! I did notice my moms skin looked amazing when she started using it religiously.

6. China Glaze nail polish in Grape Juice $7.50
I am gifting this to my cousin. She loves purple and this color caught my eye! It's perfect for her age (10) and it has shimmer which is a lot of fun! I love to look at it and I might have to get one for myself!

7. Freeman Masks $3.99
I LOVE these masks! I have three so far and want to get more. I will be getting some to gift. They are a good gift if you are on a budget like me. I like to put one on at night and watch some tv and just relax. You could get some masks, candles, chocolate and you have a nice relaxing gift!

8. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette $54
I love all the Naked palettes and I think this is what I will get next. It has 12 gorgeous pink/purple shades. It also includes a duel sided brush so it's worth the price. The colors are very pigmented and it includes matte and shimmer shadows.

9. Sugar Paper Daily Planner $9.99
This is available at Target. I love practical gifts because you know you will definitely use them. Sugar Paper has a lot of different designs and sizes so you can find the perfect planner for yourself or a loved one.

10. Clinique Even Better $47.00
This is a skin tone correcting moisturizer. I use it everyday after using my toner and serum. I only need a little bit so the sample size I have will last a while. It has SPF 20 and it smells just like sunscreen.

11. Some cute slippers
I couldn't find where these were from I just wanted a cute example. Another practical gift idea. I used to wear slippers until the bottoms wore out so this is another thing I will be asking for this year!

I hope you all enjoyed my gift guide and found some inspiration for your gifts! Make sure to comment down below what you think and share with me what you think would make a great gift! I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Instanaturals Review: Hyaluronic Acid Serum & Vitamin C Toner

Hey everybody! This is my first review and I am really excited! These products are from Instanatural and I can't wait to share my opinion with you!

Premium Hydration Hyaluronic Acid Serum

First Impressions: I really like that it is in a glass bottle and I really like the color of the packaging. I was very happy with the shipping it arrived perfectly safe. It has a dropper (not sure about the name lol) so you only get what you need. I think it's the perfect consitency it's not really thick or thin. When it goes on it's really smooth and drys quickly. I do have to add the smell is a little strong. It bothers my mom when she's near me when I put it on. It's not the most pleasant smell but I can tolerate it. I would deffinitly consider buying more when I am out.

About Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Instanatural's Hyaluronic Acid Serum contains Hyaluronic Acid along with a perfect blend of antioxidants such as Vitamin C + Jojoba oil + Green Tea. With a capacity to sustain up to 1,000 times its weight in water, Hyaluronic Acid is a great natural hydrator by helping the skin to retain  moisture. You can buy it here or on their website.

Vitamin C Toner

First Impressions: I really liked this product immeadietly! It is 4 FL OZ. and comes in a plastic bottle. It smells really good and I always look forward to using it. The smell is kind of like a lemony-orange. It feels really nice and refreshing when I spray it on. I also really like that it is a spray bottle unlike my proactive toner it seems more sanitary to me.

About Vitamin C Facial Toner
Instanatural's Pore Tightening Vitamin C Facial Toner is an all-in-one hydrator infused with age-defying ingredients to leave your skin feeling refreshed and balanced with each pump of its formula. Vitamin C in the mist helps renew skin by neutralizing free radicals and UV-related damage. Witch Hazel's astringent properties purify oily skin and tighten pores, all while the sulfer drives deep penetration of these ingredients to increase skin elasticity. With each spray, your face is restored to natural pH levels and is in prime condition to absorb serums and moisturizers effectively. You can buy it here.

Overall I really like both products and I do think they work. I would say my favorite is the toner. One of my friends mentioned to me that my skin looked really healthy and had a hint of a glow to it. She also tried it and loved the products as well and she couldn't stop looking at her skin she loved the results so much. This year I have really become a fan of using natural products and these are on the top of the list. Instanatural has been really great to work with If I had a question they responded quickly and they were very nice. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for new products

Positivley Purple

I am always rushing out the door so I usually take the rest of my makeup with me. This is one of the looks I have done while in the car.
* Start with a primer on the eye to help your look last. I used the primer in the NYC individualEyes palette. $4-5
* Apply FOXY from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette ($52) lash to brow with a fluffy brush. This will help you blend the colors. I used the brush that came with my Naked 2 palette.
* In the crease use TEASE from the Naked 2 palette. Use windshield wiper motions.
* Apply M.A.C. Nocturnelle Frost ($15) all over the lid. I used my Japonesque 140 brush.
* In the OUTER corner use BUSTED from the Naked 2 palette. Use smaller windshield wiper motions to blend the colors together.
* If you want you can add more Nocturnelle Frost
* In the INNER corner add a little bit of YDK from the Naked 2 palette
* I used my Japonesque 341 smudge brush on the lower lash line. I took it to the middle then used YDK to the inner corner.
* I used PHYSICIANS FORMULA 2 in 1 Lash Boosting eyeliner + serum in ultra black. It's my favorite liquid eyeliner. ($9)
* Curl lashes and apply mascara. I used COVERGIRL lashblastvolume in very black ($7)
